Well as the sun sets on Mikayla and Jordans time on the Amalfi Coast, it rises on a new adventure for them in the historical city of Rome. The last few days experiencing the Amalfi Coast with them has been filled with laughter and excitement. It truly has been enjoyable.
When Jordan text me updating me on his journey to the train station, I couldn’t help but take the opportunity to pull a grandpa joke. With it being April fools day made it even better. Telling him the train operator went on strike was the perfect setup! He fell for it hook, line and sinker. I quickly let him off the hook, not wanting to cause any stress, but it’s so good to know that Grandpa still has it in him.
With our new found freedom, we decided to visit a cathedral in the area. The craftsmanship and the details were stunning. Tomorrow we plan on attending the main cathedral in Atrani, the collegiate church of Saint Mary Magdalene, for their Palm Sunday service.
